Business Development Representative – SaaS – Lead generation

Central Manchester, 100% office-based

£24,000 per annum + uncapped OTE + benefits

You have the chance to work at a young, innovative cloud-based SaaS provider as a Business Development Representative. The business’ award-winning products help businesses in Retail, Distribution, and eCommerce with product, stock, asset, and digital management.

They are a Top 30 UK Scale-Up with 60+ enthusiastic employees and excellent leadership, as well as some outstanding clients already onboard, including the likes of JD Sports, Regatta, and FootAsylum.

As a Business Development Representative, you’ll be responsible for focusing on lead generation, building new business and prospecting to a variety of new clients, with the aim to book as many meetings & demos as possible for the Account Executive.

The Business Development Representative will join a team of 7 existing BDRs that has a brilliant leader who has worked their way up.

Business Development Representative responsibilities:

  • Lead generation
  • Engage with lots of prospective businesses/contacts
  • Following up on marketing qualified leads
  • Arrange meetings with prospective clients on behalf of Account Executives
  • Liaising with your Account Executive to ensure they are fully prepared for meetings
  • Pipeline management

Business Development Representative requirements:

  • 6+ months in a lead generation/outbound prospecting role within a technology background (ideally)
  • General interest in technology
  • Target-driven (worked with KPIs would be great)
  • Self-motivated, hungry for success, resilient
